Lately we've been getting more and more custom orders from some local photographers and can't wait to see the results.  When we started belle + sebastien we knew we wanted to specialize in handmade hats and accessories, however quickly it became obvious to extend our product line into the realm of photo props, especially newborn hats.

Why do we love photo props?

For one, they are beyond adorable, super fun to make and allow us to use yarns we don't get to use every day like super bulky and multicoloured yarns.

There is something special about making a hat or cocoon that will be help capture the first weeks of a newborn's life.    Of course we love making them but really it makes us so happy to be able to be a part of those special moments.

Not Just for Babies

A beautiful hand crocheted headband like the one below can add depth and just a subtle pop of colour to an already wonderful photograph and gorgeous model!

The very first photographer we worked with was Stacey Paquette.  Stacey is so talented and great to work with plus her newborn and family photography will just melt your heart.  Stacey is super crafty in her own right and full of creativity.
